Anthony (Tony) Lawrence is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of VOR Technology. With a background in counter-terrorism and threat analysis, and numerous achievements during his tenure in military and government, Mr. Lawrence contributes expert skills and leadership ability to VOR. Mr. Lawrence is a service-disabled veteran of the U.S. Army, where he provided operational oversight for two counter-terrorism offices within the Department of Defense (DOD). There, he specialized in analysis, reporting of target locations, operational capabilities, and tactical intentions. Because of his knowledge and high mission success rate, SGT Lawrence was hand selected to work directly for The Director of the National Security Agency (DIRNSA). On his behalf, he delivered patented USCYBERCOM/NSA briefings to senior U.S. military flag officers,
members of the Presidential Staff, members of Congress and staff, U.S. Ambassadors, Senators, Executive Branch officials, takeholders, and Foreign Dignitaries, ensuring support and cooperation for SIGINT and Cyber missions.
Mr. Lawrence has tracked and reported intelligence on over 100 Counter-Terrorism targets of interest. His cyber target geo-location efforts produced intelligence reports directly leading to the capture or elimination of terrorists worldwide. Mr. Lawrence’s accomplishments have garnered national media attention, and his experience continues to lend itself to his objectives for VOR.
Since its founding in 2012, Mr. Lawrence has developed and grown VOR Technology into a highly successful, nationally recognized company focused on providing superior tactical mission support to DOD and the nation at large. Under Mr. Lawrence’s leadership, VOR has grown to employ over 200 cleared employees, establishing a working presence throughout the U.S. and the greater Washington D.C. area.
Gabriel (Gabe) Fulton is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) of VOR Technology. Mr. Fulton is a forward-leaning, award-winning executive with 20 years of leadership and executive experience. Prior to joining VOR, Mr. Fulton was the CEO of Sintel Group Inc, a provider of high-end intelligence and cyber services to the NSA and Extended Enterprise. His diverse experience, from serving as an intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army to running a multi-national corporation, has given him a unique global perspective. Mr. Fulton is President of Federal Allies Institute, a non-profit that supports small business initiatives within the federal government.
Mr. Fulton is a resident of Northern Virginia’s wine region, but is a native Texan. When not occupied with work, he volunteers his time to help newly-separated servicemen and women acclimate to the civilian world. A staunch Dallas Cowboys supporter, Mr. Fulton is dedicated to the mission of reforming Washington Redskins and Pittsburgh Steelers fans.
Mr. Fulton is a strong believer in people. He serves as a relentless advocate for his team of employees and is committed to leading VOR Technology to success in its future endeavors.
Dan Casto, Esq., CPA (Inactive) is CFO and General Counsel of VOR Technology. Mr. Casto brings extensive business, acquisition, strategic, legal, financial, and government experience to VOR, and has worked on billions of dollars in transactions during his career. He began his career as an accountant with the United States Department of Treasury’s Franchise Fund. Prior to joining VOR, Mr. Casto served as Principal at Offit Kurman; Vice President, Associate General Counsel, and SEC Reporting at American Public Education, Inc. (NASDAQ: APEI); Senior Associate with international law firm WilmerHale; Associate with international law firm Sullivan & Cromwell LLP; and Legislative Director for then Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capitol.
Mr. Casto is a member of the bar in the District of Columbia (D.C.), Virginia, and West Virginia. He earned his B.S. in Accounting from Ohio Valley University, where he was named Young Alumnus of the Year in 2011. Mr. Casto earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the West Virginia University College of Law, where he finished first in his class and was inducted into the Order of the Coif. While attending law school, Mr. Casto served on the Executive Board of the West Virginia Law Review and as a full-time extern for the Honorable D. Michael Fisher on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Upon graduating from West Virginia University, Mr. Casto received the Patrick Duffy Koontz Leadership Award as well as the West Virginia Tax Institute’s Thomas N. Chambers Award for Tax Scholarship. In addition to his work at VOR, Mr. Casto serves as President of Our Savior Lutheran Church (Winchester, Virginia) and Vice President of the Lutheran Legal League, and is a Member of the Jefferson County Development Authority’s Board of Directors (West Virginia).
Mr. Casto is a skilled communicator and motivator. Adept at channeling the abilities of others, he has succeeded in building a fast rapport with his employees by promoting a team mentality and acknowledging individual efforts on behalf of VOR’s many largescale initiatives.
